At Pinergy we are committed to supporting our vulnerable customers to ensure that there energy is always available to them. If you are or someone in your home is a vulnerable customer please complete the form below.
Vulnerable Customers means those customers who register with us as being elderly, dependent on electrical medical equipment, or who have hearing, sight or mobility difficulties and for whom we have special services. There are two types of Vulnerable Customer:
- Priority Services Customer is critically dependent on electrically powered equipment, which shall include but is not limited to life protecting devices, assistive technologies to support independent living and medical equipment, or
- Special Services Customer is particularly vulnerable to disconnection during winter months (1st November to the 31st March), for reasons of advanced age or physical, sensory, intellectual or mental health.
ESB Networks have created a Vulnerable Customer Register for customers who, due to advanced age, physical or mental health difficulties, need additional support when it comes to their electricity supply.

Pinergy requires the below information to record the special requirements of certain customers. The data controller is New Measured Power Limited, t/a Pinergy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy, available at https://pinergy.ie/terms-conditions/privacy/. We can also provide a copy of this upon request.
When registering as a Special Services customer with Pinergy and under the Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU) guidelines you waive your entitlement to the restrictions on the disconnection between 1st November and 31st March in circumstances where you do not purchase sufficient credit if you are a Pay as You Go (PAYG) Customer.If you are a Lifestyle customer, you will not be disconnected or de-energised during the Winter months for reasons of non-payment of bills.
Please note that Pay as You Go (PAYG) is not suitable for Priority Services customers (critically dependent on electricity powered equipment), Only those signed up to Pinergy Lifestyle are eligible to register as a Priority Service customer.
