The O’Neill family wanted to have a relatively compact system that would offset their home electricity demand. Lucky for them, their location in Rosslare is known as the sunniest place in Ireland! Pinergy recommended placing the panels on the south-facing roof for maximum impact. They had 7 x 310watt roof panels installed producing more than 2,000 kWh of electricity a year or €0.20 a unit. That’s around €400 worth of electricity!
