Pinergy launches WinterLock, a new plan empowering Irish businesses to lock-in their Winter energy prices.

Pinergy, the energy transition company, has launched WinterLock, a new commercial electricity plan that will give businesses the opportunity to lock in their electricity price until March 2026.

As Irish businesses brace for another winter of potential energy price volatility and continued economic pressures, WinterLock is designed to provide greater cost certainty and control during the traditionally higher-priced & more volatile winter months.

Pinergy is bringing this innovative pricing model to the Irish market and it will be available to businesses of all sizes this Winter.

Commenting on Pinergy’s latest offering, Daire Keating, Pinergy’s Chief Commercial Officer said, “The past few years have underscored the critical need for businesses to have greater control over their energy costs, especially as we approach the colder months. WinterLock is our response to this challenge from our customers who are telling us that they want more control and certainty, especially during the winter.”

He continued, “WinterLock aims to remove the volatility of the cost of energy at the time of year when it can be at its highest point. We are really excited about working with businesses of all sizes on this type of electricity plan which allows for much more control on a key cost.”

WinterLock provides a fixed pricing model during the seasonally higher-priced winter months, while still allowing businesses to benefit from potentially more favourable market-based pricing during spring and summer months. This hybrid approach offers a unique balance of stability and flexibility.

This innovative pricing is complemented by Pinergy’s commitment to certified renewable energy and its data-driven solutions, empowering businesses to not only manage costs but also optimise consumption and reduce their carbon footprint.
