Pinergy appoint energy advisor for commercial property sector
Pinergy, the award-winning smart energy provider, has announced the appointment of Colm Foley as the company’s Energy Advisor for the commercial property sector. This announcement represents the creation of a specialist role that will provide sector-specific knowledge and advice to commercial property clients.
In his new role supporting the commercial property sector, Colm will consult with some of Ireland’s largest property management companies on how best to manage, monitor and take control of their energy requirements and costs through the use of Pinergy Smart Energy solutions. Pinergy offers in-depth energy reporting and re-billing tools as well as a number of energy management solutions and 100% green energy supply. These are ideal solutions for large-scale properties and sites such as multi-let office buildings, large development sites and shopping centres. Pinergy’s smart solutions enable these clients to compare their consumption across various units in one place.
Colm’s key responsibilities will also include providing sector-specific advice on reducing annual energy costs and consumption. Energy can be a significant input cost for many commercial properties and Colm will bring his specialist expertise to help clients understand their energy consumption and ultimately reduce energy waste and costs.
Sustainability is also an important message for many commercial property businesses to communicate to their own customers and with 100% green energy, Pinergy customers can lead the way in environmental sustainability.

Prior to joining Pinergy, Colm worked in commercial sales in the utilities sector for several years. He gained experience working on commercial advisory roles for Electric Ireland and Bord Gais Energy. Previous to this Colm owned and ran his own business in the hospitality sector for ten years.
