Pinergy appoints Damian Boylan as corporate sales manager for Munster
Pinergy, the award-winning smart energy provider, has announced the appointment of Damian Boylan as Corporate Sales Manager in Munster. The appointment represents an opportunity to further grow and develop Pinergy’s business in the Munster area.
In his new role, Damian will be supporting the sales of Pinergy’s smart energy solutions with specialisation in Electric Vehicle (EV) charging. His core areas of expertise are in transport with a speciality in Light Commercial Vehicles and Cars. Pinergy’s EV charging product, ‘Pinergy Drive’, offers customers the ability to set up EV charging points from a business or home as part of a complete energy solution package. Using Pinergy’s smart metering technology, business customers can uniquely have separate tariffs for their EV charge point, so they can get complete visibility on their specific EV consumption and separate billings.
Damian will be equipping local business customers with the tools to help them manage their energy, become more energy-efficient and guide them toward a more sustainable future. Damian is also a City Councillor with Cork City Council, having been elected in 2019. Energy can be a significant input cost for many businesses. Damian will be working to help clients understand their energy consumption and support them in reducing energy waste and costs.
Speaking about the new appointment, Jon Jerromes, Head of Sales at Pinergy said, “We are delighted to appoint Damian in the role of Corporate Sales Manager for the Munster region. Damian’s position as City Councillor and his in-depth knowledge of the locality makes him the ideal person to help the people in his area to make the best energy decisions they can and move toward a more sustainable future for their business. Damian’s focus on EV charging will be especially helpful in supporting the people of Cork to move to Electric Vehicles.”
Damian is originally from Blarney in Co. Cork and prior to joining Pinergy, he worked in sales management positions within the Financial and Motor Rental industries for several years. Damian was a founding member of the Blarney & District Chamber of Commerce.
His appointment coincides with Pinergy’s recent announcement that they will continue to support Munster Rugby as their official energy partner this year.
