Pinergy, the energy transition company, has today announced the appointments of Nichola Cooke and Annmarie Hennessy as Senior Energy Consultants for large energy users. These appointments reinforce Pinergy’s commitment to supporting commercial customers achieve their sustainability goals as they move through the energy transition.

Annmarie will leverage her deep commercial knowledge and extensive sales leadership experience within the energy sector to cultivate strong, strategic client portfolios and significantly contribute to Pinergy’s sustainable growth. As a trusted advisor, she will actively work to help businesses optimise their energy use, reduce costs, and proactively achieve their ESG goals through value-added services.

In her new role, Annmarie will focus on securing new business contracts, particularly for large energy users such as those in manufacturing and technology sectors. She will provide innovative, energy-efficient solutions tailored to each commercial client’s unique needs, consulting with them to pinpoint cost-saving opportunities, ensure compliance with evolving sustainability regulations, and ultimately facilitate their strategic transition to cleaner energy sources.

Annmarie is originally from Wexford. Prior to joining Pinergy, Annmarie held senior roles including Key Account Manager at Energia, Senior B2B Regional Sales and Operations Manager with Uniquely (Bord Gais Energy Account), and CNG and Renewable Gas, New Connections Business Development Manager at CPM.

Nichola Cooke will draw upon her wealth of experience in energy supply, renewables, and account management, bringing a deep understanding of the complex challenges faced by large industrial and commercial clients. She is dedicated to helping organisations reduce costs, enhance energy efficiency, and establish long-term partnerships to achieve their sustainability goals.

In her new role as Senior Energy Consultant, Nichola will focus on expanding Pinergy’s market share within the industrial and commercial sectors by championing innovative energy solutions and optimising the integration of Pinergy’s smart meter products. She will consult with businesses on advanced renewable energy strategies, including commercial solar, to empower them with the insights and expertise needed to contribute significantly to Ireland’s energy transition.

Nichola has built her career through several senior positions across the energy and engineering sectors. Prior to joining Pinergy, she held key roles such as Key Account Manager at Vamat Ireland and SKE Engineering. (VAP to Huawei Ireland). With over 18 years’ experience working as Key Account Manager, Large Industrial at Energia and as Customer Relationship Manager at Electric Ireland, where she developed deep client relationships and delivered tailored energy solutions for major industrial customers.
