We are deeply honoured that Pinergy, together with our strategic partner Sojitz Corporation, has been named 2025 Company of the Year by the Ireland Japan Chamber of Commerce (IJCC) at its annual event in Tokyo.

Together with Sojitz, we share an ambition to become a total energy solutions provider. We are building a new type of energy retailer—one that delivers cleaner energy, enhanced technologies and supports meaningful behavioural change for our customers, to help revolutionise the energy sector in Ireland.
This award belongs to our team, our customers and our partners who share our belief that the energy transition should be practical, data-driven and positive.
Our partnership with Sojitz was formally announced in December 2024, marking the start of an important new chapter for Pinergy. In a short space of time, we have made strong progress together. This award is, in many ways, a reflection of that momentum and of our shared ambition for what comes next.
Who we are – and why it matters
Pinergy is an energy company rooted in the transition to a cleaner future. Since our launch in 2013, we’ve chosen a different path: we work in partnership with our customers and help them use less energy.
Our mission is grounded in a simple idea: energy is a scarce resource, not just a commodity.
- We supply 100% Green electricity from renewable sources—wind, solar and hydro.
- But supply is only the start. We equip customers with rich, site-level data on their energy consumption.
- That insight builds awareness, supports behaviour change and strengthens the business case for investing in efficiency.
From there, we help organisations transform how they plan and use energy—through Solar PV, EV charging and a wider suite of energy services—ultimately reducing costs and emissions while building long-term resilience.
Awards are milestones, not endpoints. This recognition tells our team we’re on the right path and signals to our customers and partners that there is real momentum behind Ireland’s energy transition.
In the months and years ahead, we will continue to invest in the people, platforms and partnerships that turn information into impact—helping every customer make better energy decisions, day by day.
