Pinergy is proud to support Connacht GAA with the installation of a new electric vehicle (EV) charger at the Connacht GAA Grounds, delivered in partnership with EV charging specialists WEEV.

As Energy Partner to Connacht GAA for over five years, Pinergy supplies 100% renewable green electricity to power the charger – ensuring the most sustainable option as the club continues to reduce its environmental impact and progress its energy transition goals.

The installation forms part of the Shared Island Sports Club EV Charging Scheme, a government-backed initiative designed to help sports clubs across the island of Ireland adopt cleaner transport infrastructure and support community decarbonisation.

This EV charger is one element of a broader suite of sustainability initiatives implemented by Connacht GAA, demonstrating how sports organisations can play a leadership role in the transition to low-carbon energy.

For Pinergy, the project reflects our commitment to delivering practical, real-world solutions that empower organisations to take meaningful action, not just make pledges.

As our partnership with Connacht GAA continues to evolve, this marks the beginning of further initiatives focused on reducing energy costs, lowering emissions, and building a more sustainable future for the club and its community.

If your organisation is exploring EV charging, renewables, or smarter energy solutions, Pinergy can help.
