From October 1st 2025, the Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU) has announced that all electricity suppliers will be required to increase network tariffs.
The new charges will cause an increase in unit rates, standing charges and capacity charges.

PSO Levy is decreasing
In better news, the PSO levy is collected from all electricity customers to fund schemes to support the delivery of renewable electricity.
From October 1st, the monthly levy is going from €12.90 per month to €7.77 per month for small commercial sites (MIC < 30kVA).
For Medium and Larger commercial sites, the levy is going from €1.57 /kVa to to €0.96 / kVa.
