The role will report to the Billing Operations Manager of a new business department to support the extraordinary growth the company is achieving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Assurance: Monitor revenue streams and identify potential revenue leakages or discrepancies in billing. Implement controls and checks to ensure that all billed revenues are collected and accounted for accurately.
  • Tariff Analysis: Analyse tariff structures and rate schedules to understand their impact on customer bills and revenue generation. Recommend adjustments to tariff rates or billing structures to optimise revenue and remain competitive in the market.
  • Customer Behaviour Analysis: Study customer behaviour and preferences to anticipate future energy demand and consumption patterns. Analyse historical billing data to identify seasonal variations, peak demand periods, and opportunities for demand-side management.
  • Billing Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in billing processes and propose solutions to streamline operations and reduce costs. Recommend automation tools, process improvements, or system enhancements to enhance billing efficiency.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards governing billing practices. Stay updated on regulatory changes and assist in implementing necessary adjustments to billing processes.
  • Financial Reporting: Generate reports and dashboards to communicate billing performance metrics, revenue trends, and key performance indicators to stakeholders. Provide insights to management to support strategic decision-making and financial planning.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as billing support, customer service, operations, and finance to address billing-related challenges and improve overall billing processes and customer experience.
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor key performance metrics related to billing accuracy, timeliness, and customer satisfaction. Implement initiatives to continuously improve billing operations and enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
