They directly manage approximately 3,000 student beds across 5 different sites in Galway, Athlone, Sligo & Letterkenny while providing consultancy services to sites in Dublin, Cork & Limerick.

Pinergy supplies the electricity for all of Winters student accommodation developments. We provide data analytics and transparency for the property managers and tenants which they can’t get from any other provider in the country. At the Irish Facility Management Awards 2016, Winters won four categories, including the “Residential Project of the Year” for their work on the ‘Glen Abhainn’ student development in Athlone which they managed on behalf of Grand Thornton.

Making their Tenants Lives Easier
Winters understand the special needs and requirements of Irish and International students, particularly when it’s their first experience away from home. Pinergy also provided a smart meter in each unit so the students can monitor their usage through the ‘In Home Display’ and manage their account through the Pinergy app. Each of their tenants has total transparency over their usage thanks to the latest smart meter technology and this can help them manage their cash flow.

Seasons Change Processes Don’t
During the summer months when students return home these complexes are converted into short term summer accommodation. Apartments and houses are available for weekly or monthly lettings. By using our Landlord Portal there is no billing administration or maintenance work involved in this process as no meter reads need to be taken and outstanding balances can be easily identified and dealt with efficiently.

Quote – Martin Gill – student accommodation general manager. “Since switching to Pinergy all the headaches involved in tenant changeovers have been eradicated”
